Retired & Senior Volunteer Program
The Douglas-Cherokee RSVP program is working actively to recruit retired seniors, 55 and older in Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen and Jefferson Counties. This is an opportunity for seniors to volunteer to help seniors & those who have a disability.
The RSVP program's major focus is Healthy Futures (Aging in Place). Seniors & those with a Disability will receive transportation and/or telephone reassurance services. The goal is to reduce social isolation, improve the ability to age in place and promote healthy futures.
Help us help you Put Your Experience To Work! RSVP shows you how you can apply the skills and wisdom you've acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
